Two Local Singer-Songwriters
Little Flower House Concert #17
Due to the weather, this house concert had to be moved inside. Everyone was very supportive and attentive to these two artists and it was a great evening of music. There were two separate sets by two separate singer-songwriter artists. While there’s some overlap in what they do, they each had their own style, energy, and music. It can be hard to classify music into genres because there’s so much overlap, but these artists were both folk-leaning with soulful sounds.
The first set was performed by Keith Rea who has lived in Indianapolis, Texas, and travels around. He enjoys playing in the house concert setting where an audience can really enjoy listening to his music. Here’s what Keith Rea had to say. “I have enjoyed being both an artist and an attendee at a Little Flower show. Both experiences were a pleasure. As an artist, I was well taken care of, received well, and had a blast. The hot dogs were great also!!!”
Local Indianapolis musician, Wayne Pennington was featured for the second set. His high-energy performance got guests’ feet stomping and it was truly one to remember. If you like an intentionally gritty sound you might like Wayne’s music.
