The Circle Centre Music Series was a weekly free concert featuring a variety of local talent. The programming was a partnership between Musical Family Tree and Circle Centre Mall (under the direction of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL)). in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This all-ages concert series was open to the public every Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and featured a variety of local artists.

Via contract, Clear Vibes Creative co-owner Kati Taylor was the program manager for the music series from January 2022 through April 2024.

Responsibilities included handling all aspects of the programming including artist booking, event marketing, series administration and scheduling, event logistics, equipment management, branding, marketing, and communications.

Special thanks to Jim Rawlinson who initiated this program partnership as well as Pasha Anderson and Corey Regan who ran sound at the events. Many thanks also to those who performed, joined us to listen, and supported the series!

Community Building Through Local Music

The concert series brought community together to appreciate and participate in the arts. It gave those traveling through the city who were visiting the Circle Centre Mall an opportunity to experience a piece of the local music scene. It also provided a listening audience and showcased a variety of genres and musicians in a safe and accessible downtown space. Artists enjoyed the opportunity to play in the Music Lounge. And, listeners enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere where they could grab a snack in the dining pavilion.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Kati, as part of the Musical Family Tree team. MFT strives to promote, document and archive Indiana music, in communities throughout the state. Kati has been instrumental in helping organize and execute events, concerts, radio programs, and music lending libraries in Indiana. She cares about the arts, and is passionately involved her local community too. Thank you Kati: for all that you have done, and will continue to do for Indiana music.”
