Little Flower House Concert Series

The Little Flower House Concert Series is part of Indianapolis Music history.

This house concert series provided a welcoming space where musicians, comedians, and other artists shared their live performances with attentive listeners of all ages. These intimate events allowed creative performers and supportive audiences to connect over a mutual appreciation for the arts.

It supported local performing artists and built community!

The unique atmosphere of the house concert built relationships. It promoted the neighborhood and strengthened community on the near East side of Indianapolis. It was an experience unlike any venue, club, or bar.

The Little Flower House Concert Series was produced by Clear Vibes Creative Founder and Creative Director, Kati Taylor. She curated, managed, promoted, and hosted 40 concerts featuring over 70 artists at her home! The concert series ran from May 2019 through June 2023 and featured music and comedy in her living room or backyard every month. Kati has a passion to share her love of music and performing arts to nurture a kinder community. The Little Flower House Concert Series blossomed into a premier monthly event with a small supportive community of followers and attendees.

It was not a venue and it was not a party.

This monthly concert series was born for artists to share their creative talents with an actively listening and engaged community of guests. It offered a comfortable and intimate space, both inside and outside her home, where the magic happened!

There was a friendly, relaxed vibe that was created through the sharing of space, talent, and guest involvement. Those who performed made each house concert uniquely enriching. Friends and neighbors who attended had the opportunity to be closer to the artists and ask questions to learn more about what they do. There were meaningful moments that resonated when artists and audiences connected.

Getting the Word Out

The Little Flower House Concert Series was special because of the humble, genuine, and inclusive experience. Consistent branding and communications are what got the word out about the monthly events. Those who wanted to attend could visit the website for current updates and follow the series on social media where regular posts were maintained. Most of those who attended joined the email list which grew to over 600 subscribers. Because it was content attendees were looking for, email communications about house concerts got 50% (or higher) open rates!

Little Flower House Concert Series making a special return!

Get ready for a delightful musical experience.

No tickets were sold but a suggested donation was requested that went directly to the artists.

Little Flower House Concerts were free to attend but it was asked that guests kindly donate to support the artists. Any amount was appreciated and donations were made on the honor system. There was both a physical tip jar and a virtual tip jar.

All donations always went to the artist(s) performing. This concert series was truly about supporting the arts!
